Global Journal Al Thaqafah (GJAT) is a semi annual academic journal published by Universiti Sultan Azlan Shah (USAS) in Malaysia. This journal has been published since 2011 and was included in the Scopus database in March 2014. GJAT is a purely academic peer-reviewed journal that covers a diverse range of topics related to Islam and Muslims, including but not limited to philosophy, political science, history, geography, theology, archaeology, law, economics, computer science, Islam, business, sociology, psychology, mathematics, linguistics, and art.

GJAT aims to provide a platform for researchers and scholars from different backgrounds and traditions to share and discuss diverse perspectives, new ideas, theories, research results, and their impact on social, cultural, and political issues, particularly those that directly or indirectly affect the Muslim world. Journals encourage interdisciplinary research, prioritizing articles that discuss fundamental issues and have global relevance and importance。
