The International Journal Of Developmental Disabilities is an international academic journal focused on the field of developmental disabilities, dedicated to publishing high-quality research covering all aspects of intellectual disability. The journal not only focuses on the definition and diagnostic criteria of intellectual disability, but also explores in depth the basic issues related to intellectual disability such as IQ assessment, genetic susceptibility, and ability assessment.

The journal pays special attention to the study of education and intervention measures for individuals with intellectual disabilities, including learning intervention, behavior management, drug intervention, etc. These studies are not only based on scientific empirical research, but also focus on the effect and feasibility of practical applications, aiming to provide more effective support and help for individuals with intellectual disabilities. In addition, the journal focuses on the challenges that individuals with intellectual disabilities face in their social lives, such as challenging behaviors, attitudes toward death and bereavement, sexual issues, legal issues, and more. By analyzing these issues in depth, the journal aims to improve society's understanding and support for individuals with intellectual disabilities and promote their social inclusion and quality of life.
