Genes&Diseases, sponsored by Chongqing Medical University, is an all English open access (OA) journal that focuses on the combination of molecular medicine and translational medicine. Since its establishment in 2014, this journal has focused on the pathogenesis of human diseases and cutting-edge advances in precision medicine, timely publishing industry hotspots, and committed to publishing high-quality articles and reviews.

The magazine has a wide range of submissions, including but not limited to molecular biology, molecular genetics, cell biology, stem cell biology, developmental biology, gene regulation, epigenetics, cancer biology, immunity and infection, neuroscience, animal models, gene and cell therapy, and regenerative medicine. The journal aims to establish an advanced academic platform for international academic exchange and lead the forefront of disciplines.
