Biochar is an academic journal dedicated to the research and application of biochar, covering multiple disciplines such as agricultural science, environmental science, and materials science, providing a comprehensive communication platform for biochar related research. Biochar, as an emerging carbon material, has received widespread attention due to its potential in soil improvement, pollutant treatment, energy storage, and other areas.

The columns under the journal reflect the diversity and depth of biochar research, including the preparation technology of biochar, the characteristics and applications of biochar materials, the role of biochar in sustainable agriculture, the positive impact of biochar on the ecological environment, the contribution of biochar in mitigating climate change, and how biochar promotes rural development.
